Situation with CCNA expiring

I got an e-mail about my CCNA expiring in 90 days from Cisco. I have two options

  1. renew ccna by sudying and taking ICND
2 . renew ccna by sutdying and taking BCSI or other CCNp tests

any thoughts or ideas.?

I am wieghing pros and cons.

Do whatever you are confident doing.

If you pass ANY 642- level exam, you renew CCNA.

There is a lot in BSCI, but if you have the routing experience and knowledge, go for it. If you are stronger in switching or WAN, do BCMSN or BCRAN respectively.

Remember that If you don't pass something in 90 days, you are going to have to resit CCNA anyway.

After sleeping on it and looking at what has been added since i passed the CCNA test I decided to study for the ICND. This will help rebuild a stonger foundation and allow me to move forward to CCNP with more confidence.

Thanks for your reply!!
