Hi All,

Have you ever tried to implement dialer watch? Yes, I know this is not
the best way to implement dial backup which most people will use
floating route. However, for the sake of curiosity, I want to try to
create a small scenario where two routers are connected using Frame
Relay (FR) link and a dial backup whenever particular route is gone from
the routing table.

However, I can get the BRI0 disconnected and while primary link is
already up.

I've put the details about this scenario on

Appreciate your help.

You've got "stuff" going accross the link thus not allowing the idle timeout
to happen. Do a log on the acl and find out what it is. Right off the bat,
it could be CDP, should should disable that on the bri's.
