Depending on the IOS you're running you just need to set the eth
interface that terminates your cable modem to get its IP address via
DHCP. Something like this:
ip address dhcp
You'll also need to set up NAT and your default route to your provider.
With an ACL set up for NAT and port forwarding should you need it
requires a little more research but is something you should learn to do.
