CCNA Intro exam CD

Question ID 92 is "wrong" even though I have asked it to simulate the question and copied the config:

"using the sim, set console password to "mars" and configure to prompt for logon"

my answer:

en conf t line con 0 login password mars

wrong..... even though it has the same answer......what gives?????

Pardon my ignorance, but where are you seeing "Question ID 92"?

If I had to guess, add "copy run start" at the end.

I was thinking that but it wasn't shown in the "show me" section... how certain can I be that the simulations on the real thing wont mess me about?

Sorry to but in here. I have just started the second semester of the CCNA so I am by no means an expert on this but I have had a look at the commands you mention here.

Isn't the login command AFTER the password command since it instructs the router to prompt for a log in ?

I remember that the text of the module shows the login command before password but ..........

I think I need to have this put straight aswell !

Hey, a lot of the questions are wrong on the INTRO and ICND cd's. I used those books, but wouldn't rely much on the practice exams. They are nothing like the actual exams. Your answer looks good.

There are a few questions that are just plain wrong on the CD exams.

Check Cisco Press's web site for updates to the test engine. I can't remember, but I think I found a total of 4 questions that would show as incorrect even with the right answer. The patch fixed these problems and added additional questions as a bonus.

How can I be confident that the actual exam questionbank is 100% correct?
