CAT 5509

I have a CAT 5509 running and it seems to be a little slow, I have ran a troughput test with two PC connected to the same VLAN via a hub and it seems pretty slow, could some one look at this for me and see if there is anything that stands out that is causing me issues: -

You don't quantify "very slow". The throughput may not be related to the RSM, but in fact, the module configuration accessible via the supervisor.

Have you checked duplex settings? Some ports, depending on the card, don't support auto negotiate. You may need to set the duplex and speed settings on each end of the link manually.

Give that a shot.
