The CCNA is generally considered the starting point. It will make sure you know IP addressing and subnetting, OSI, and some basic router commands. It is also the prerequisite for most of their other exams...So, I would start there.

Then, you can start taking ones that interest you the most....for example, I just passed the CSPFA exam and am working on the SECUR to become a "Cisco Qualified Firewall specialist..." But that's because I love working on the PIX :-)

Hello,

I would like to take com Cisco certification's. But dont know where i should start. What would you recommend as the first certification from Cisco? and maybe advise on a few more ranking from basic(first certification)->intermediate->advanced. Hoping to get some good reply's wich im shure i will. If someone doesnt think this is just spam.
