bridging

I am not sure if this is the right forum to post to, but I saw another post on bridging so I thought I would give it a try.

I have a cat 5509 with an ATM interface at the north location, and a

5500 with an ATM interface at the south location. In between them are two igx wan switches, I don't know if that matters.

At the north location there is a 10.100.198.0 255.255.255.0 subnet. At the south location there is a 10.1.0.0 255.255.0.0 subnet.

I would like to create a vlan (or whatever interface I need) on the

5509 at the north location in the 10.1.0.0 255.255.0.0 network and bridge the two.

I am assuming I use IRB

how should I configure the ATM interfaces?

How should I configure the other interfaces?

Are there any good articles on this?

Thank you, Matt
