Please log in for more thread options Hi to all. how do you set up a voltage source to do the following. Initially In want a sine wave at a certain frequency and amplitude and after a predetermined time I want it to change its amplitude. ie: 1khz at 200mv and after say 100ms change to 1khz at 300mv. Please log in for more thread options I'm not saying this is the best way to do it: Make two voltage sources. One runs forever and the other a certain number of cycles. If you hook them in series, you get two different amplitude waveforms. OR: Use one of the ARB voltage functions to multiply the sinewave by a pulse. This allows you to make a sinewave that cycles back and forth and goes smoothly between amplitudes. -- -- kensmith@rahul.net forging knowledge

Hi there. Thanks for the reply. I have found another way. I have used the "Modulator" found in the special functions folder. Does exactly what I want. Set a pulse (200mv to 300mv , 100ms delay) connected to the AM input.Mark , Space = 1k. Output is a sine wave at 200mv that goes to 300mv after 100ms.Basically I'm just amplitude modulating a 1khz sine wave. Useful tool. Cheers Rob
