I was running windraft 3.07 under NT 4. After upgrading to XP Pro, it
runs incredibly slowly, to the point of uselessness. Ivex seems to be
no more, sad to say. Is there a fix for this problem?

Thanks,
George

Send me a case of them.

I'm not sure they'd help, though: it ran better on NT. Other apps
seem unperturbed by the O/S switch, so I think it's a Windraft thing.
From some googled threads, I get the impression that there's a problem
with Windraft on XP.

Someone even went so far as to put 3.12 on an ftp site. But, when I
try to install that, it says my (old) registraction number is too old.
Alas. So sad.

Now, I'm hoping there might be some config switch, or magic ring, or
something along those lines.

I made the switch to Eagle and no longer use windraft. Since Ivex is
out of biz, I think I would be safe to put the reg codes on the ftp
site as well. Check tomorrow. http://www.ecotechnologies.biz/downloads/
