Wondered if anyone can advise on the use of ethernet extenders. We
have a problem in connecting a remote building about 800 metres away.
We have a spare pair of copper telephone cables running to the
premises which ethernet extenders could be hooked up to or we could go
with a high end Cisco Wireless solution. Be grateful for any info on
either of these products.

If you poke around the wireless geek web sites there are guys who are
using standard wireless stuff and focusing antennas made out of old
DSS dishes or even coffee cans that can get out a mile or more between
fixed points.
