26 AWG vs. E1 loops

Hi there,

can anyone provide me with a glimpse of which are the major differences between the 26 AWG loop and the E1?

I googled the Net and found nothing.

Thanks in advance,

-Mark

Well, for starters a 26 AWG loop is simply a pair of wires. E1 is the European version of T1, a method of conveying digital voice channels over a multiplexed digital signal.

What's the difference between a pile of asphalt and a Chev?
