Com21 Firmware, Anybody got new firmware?

Please log in for more thread options I've got some MODEL: DP1110 modems, problem is it comes up, then after a while the cmts doesn't see. it doesn't pass data, yet lights are on as if it's online. Please log in for more thread options The firmware is loaded from the ISP/Cable company. If you are renting a Com21 modem from them, ask for a swapout for a Motorola or Scientific Atlanta (there's a reason Com21 went out of business). If you own the modem, well, maybe you need to think about getting a new one. I'm not saying they were all that bad, but just not all that good. My experience with them (I was a cableco supervisor at the time), was just what you are experiencing. Some units would work great forever, but many more would lock up. | |||||||||||||
