Please log in for more thread options Folks - This may be off-topic, and I apologize if it is, but I'm not sure which group is best for this question. If anyone can suggest a better group, I'd appreciate it. I recently bought a multi handset 5.8 GHz cordless phone system. It causes interference on my TVs (mostly channel 7). The interference is in the form of "noise bursts" on the display. These burst seem to be periodic (every few seconds) "polling" transmissions between the base station and the handsets. As a matter of fact, if I take the handset that is farthest away and bring it close to the base, the interference will be much less (after I reset the system). Apparently the base adjusts its power output based on how far the phones are from it. But of course, keeping the phones near the base defeats the purpose... Anyone know how to decrease 5.8 GHz TV interference? Thanks, Ron | ||||||||||
