When I was building my system, I chose the Smarthome Insteon "Smartlinc" USB
controller, as I thought it would give me more options going forward. At
this time I am ONLY using the X10 portion with Home Seer.

Question is, what is all the blinking about? About 8pm each night the
activity light on the interface goes NUTS, but there is no X10 activity, nor
Insteon that I know of.

Is there anyway to disable the insteon stuff, or should I look for an older
X10 only USB interface?

Thanks.

Bob
